SALE TERMS:
- “The Preneel Computer Store” operates as a marketing and distribution entity, not as a manufacturer.
- Customers must ensure that their TNGST Act 1959 registration certificate is valid at the time of purchase.
- Our responsibility ceases upon goods leaving our warehouse.
- We provide GST invoices for all products sold. Customers requiring their company’s GST number on the invoice must specify this during ordering and provide a copy of their GST certificate.
- Cancellation of orders before shipping incurs a 2% convenience fee; post-shipping cancellations are subject to a 5% charge. A 3% fee applies to order modifications after shipping. These fees will be deducted from the refund amount.
- Products sold are computer spares and components unless specified as a complete “New PC System”.
- Products used in abnormal environments without prior notification at the time of purchase void the warranty.
- Customers are bound by these terms & conditions upon purchase.
- Gaming chairs are eligible for part replacement only for defects; no refunds are provided.
- “Dead on Arrival” product claims require all original parts and accessories intact in the box for acceptance.
- Warranty does not cover physical damage, mishandling, or tampering of warranty stickers. Professional installation by a qualified PC Hardware engineer is recommended.
- We reserve the right to cancel orders due to pricing or stock issues.
- Disputes arising from this contract shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Kolkata.
WARRANTY & RMA TERMS:
Products are covered by carry-in warranty. Customers bear both shipping charges for RMA products outside our policy window.
On-Site warranty is subject to brand coverage; areas outside this coverage automatically shift to Carry-In service.
We do not provide insurance for RMA products shipped back to customers and are not liable for damages in transit.
“Direct Warranty” or “Manufacturer Warranty” terms indicate direct coverage by the manufacturer/distributor. We assist but have no legal or financial liability.
Customers must provide a copy of our invoice for warranty claims.
Warranty repairs/replacements require products to be in good physical condition.
Warranty is void for products with physical damage, tampering, or missing components.
RMA processing time is per the brand’s policy; delays are beyond our control.
Warranty does not cover damage due to mishandling or improper use.
Warranty covers manufacturing defects per manufacturer’s policy; local service centers handle warranty claims.
Warranty service may entail repair or replacement based on manufacturer/supplier policies.
We reserve the right to reject warranty claims without original accessories, manuals, or packaging.
Service issues must be addressed directly to manufacturers/distributors.
Warranty service requires full payment compliance.
RMA/Warranty service may be discontinued without prior notice.
GENERAL TERMS:
We reserve the right to suspend or cancel services due to technical issues.
We value customer privacy and do not disclose personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at any time.
We adhere to the jurisdiction of Kolkata courts for dispute resolution.
Cash payments exceeding ₹50,000 are not accepted.
